Inka y'amahoro (Peace Cow)

Please come and see my cow.

The cow was given to me by the son of the people I killed. 

He was given the cow because it was Tutsi's that once own cows, and now he can raise the cows as a Hutu. Powerful. After I heard the story, I named the cow Amahoro (Peace).

New Generation

Beata and Esther

Beata's father killed the family of Esther. Esther lives with her mother and her son, Ishimwe.

The baby was crying, and naturally Beata took him in her arms.

Ishimwe, he is the new generation that is living out the peace that comes with reconciliation.
